YAL started with new currency, using the VirWoX (virtual world exchange). This virtual payment system converts your EUR, USD and SLL in the Open Metaverse Currency (OMC). The OMC is a virtual currency intended to be used for all Open Grids and across the OpenSim Hypergrid networks.
The user balance shows in the browser (top right), the pay menu options are available for in-world item purchases or land rentals and the avatars can give money to each other.
