Try own SIM

     Installing YAL is easy:

• Create a free account using the form on our site.
•    Wait, a short while, for an e-mail which you will use to activate your account.
• Download the Hippo OpenSim Viewer 0.6.3  and install it.
• Double click on shortcut "Hippo OpenSim" now on your desktop (which you can rename to "YAL" for easy recognition). Go to the top menu Edit=> Preferences=> Grids. Select the Grid "youralternativelife".

  Click on Apply
• Click on the Default button at the top beside Select a grid to make YAL your Grid in this viewer. Press OK
•   In your Hippo Viewer, enter your avatar's First name, Last name and Password (which you created on the YAL website) and connect to the YAL Grid.

Using the Second Life (SL) viewer and Kristen-S19:

1. Make a copy of the SL or S19 shortcut on your desktop (which you can rename to "YAL" for easy recognition). 

2. Right click the application icon and select "properties" to show package contents.
3. Edit the target field by adding after the following line :  -loginuri http://grid01.from-ne.com:8002/ -loginpage http://grid01.from-ne.com/tios/loginscreen3.php -helperuri http://grid01.from-ne.com/tios/services/  

4. Save the settings by pressing Apply and OK

5. Run the viewer to log into YAL
